Inspiration...:)



I found Nickelback's "Photograph" music video. I really like this video because the video tells a story. The lyrics are shown in the story. We want our lyrics to be shown through our music video. I also like the use of different settings that are used in this video, and the amount of different shots that are used keep the audience gripped and it makes it more exciting for an audience watching the video having lots of different shots.

  1. Jess now that you've selected a video try and analyse it's conventions. It's reasonably 'literal' in its portrayal of the lyrics and has a clear narrative structure. I honestly don't think you can remove the band from your video as thats too big a convention to ignore.

    This video is to a comedy homage but has a literal interpretation of the songs lyrics and is an effect you might be able to emulate using a school projector. I've put similar examples on my blog.
